Lana Del Rey pokes Glastonbury for interrupted show: “it’s worth it”

Singer had mic cut off at Glastonbury performance after half-hour delay

At the BST Hyde Parkan annual festival held in London, Lana Del Rey sent indirect to the Glastonbury during the 15th song of the setlist, “Candy Necklace”:

“I think this was the moment I got cut last time. Sorry about that.” She even gestured to the crew at the side of the stage to warn them not to do the same.

The singer had the microphone turned off in the presentation of the Glastonbury 2023 after delay of half an hour from the beginning of the performance. Ending the night with “Video Games” at BST, Del Rey returned to the subject by saying that “it’s worth it even if they turn it off.” She entered the stage 20 minutes after the scheduled time, but ended the show before the time limit.

At Glastonbury, Lana Del Rey justified the delay with the time taken to do her hair: “I am really sorry, my hair took so long to be done. I love you. Let’s do the show the way it should be done, let’s go!”

at the festival mita in São Paulo, the author of “Summertime Sadness” took more than 40 minutes to start the show, but the delay was compensated with great hits and songs from the most recent album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvdwithout interruption of the set when exceeding the schedule.
