Marlene Mattos: Veto and harassment against paquitas and ballerina because they are black

A cut of the documentary commemorating Xuxa’s 60th birthday was shown by Fantastic from the Globe TV last Sunday (9/7), where the eternal queen of the little ones meets her former manager and director, Marlene Mattos, with whom she hasn’t spoken for 19 years.

After Marlene’s statements that shocked the web, some revelations are coming to light. Who manifested and exposes an execrable moment that he lived with Marlene was the ex A Fazenda, Drika Moraes.

This Monday (10), on her Twitter, Drika spoke about one of the most difficult moments of her life, when, besides her, another black dancer was part of the ballet of the singer Kelly Key, and who was a victim of the racism committed from Marlene.

“After many years dancing with Kelly Key, Marlene came in as a director, she wanted to remove all the ballet that worked, she auditioned and called new dancers,” he began.

“He auditioned and called in new dancers. He humiliated the only black dancer besides me, saying he was too old to dance and sweated a lot dancing,” she continued.

Drika Marinho also said that the humiliations took place in front of everyone: “I was talking to the other dancer who also danced with us and she said with these words that it was disgusting because she was sweating a lot. It was so absurd and the worst that no one he said nothing, myself included, for fear of losing his job, it was surreal,” he accused.

Xuxa blames Marlene Mattos for the lack of black paquitas in her program

Presenter Xuxa Meneghel revealed on TV Globo’s daily program Altas Horas (03/11), that her former manager and director, Marlene MattI didn’t want black paquitas.

The former reporter of the Fama TV show on Dede TV! Adriana Candy was in the audience and said he was an extra on an emcee’s show in 1996.

“Marlene didn’t want a black paquita, but I was delighted with her beauty,” said Xuxa.

Then, Bombom talked about what it was like to attend Xuxa Park.

“My dream was to be able to invade that television to be there and be a paquita, but I know that my dream was very far away, also because the paquitas were blonde and I knew that I couldn’t be there because of the color, because I was black”, he said.

“I started working as an extra and one day I was invited to be an extra on the show. It was a great joy for me to work with Xuxa, and I was a point of reference because all the other women of color wanted to be in the role that I was performing as a stage assistant”, he concluded.
