A Amazon Prime videos announced this Tuesday (11th) that the classic series will debut Ugly Bettybased on the acclaimed novel I’m Betty, the ugly with the presence of the original duo of the telenovela, Ana Maria Orosco (Cochina Envidia) AND Jorge Enrique Abello (Ana de Nadie) for 2024.
Ugly Betty will be available exclusively on First video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
The new series tells the story of the iconic Beatriz Pinzon Solano, ugly Betty, 20 years after the end of the original soap opera. While the betty authorized remains married to her husband and company leader Armando Mendozatries to rebuild his relationship with his teenage daughter, Thousandsand navigate the crisis affecting the company
of her family, wondering if, 20 years ago, she chose the path that makes her truly happy.

The development and roadmap of this drama were made by Martha Betoldi (Ciega a Citas, Las Estrellas), Juan Carlos Perez (waiter) AND Cesare Betancur (Via Las Hermanitas, La Selection). Furthermore, Valeria Gomez (Hands) AND Luis Carlos Avila (The Queen of Flow) were also featured in the script.
The series is directed by Mauricio Cruz Fortunato (Manes, Café with Aroma de Mujer2020) and was executive producer of Juan Pablo Posada AND Yali Giordanelli (Ana de Nadie, Until Plate Do Us Part2022), with Ana Maria Orosco AND Jorge Enrique Abello participating as associate producers and production supervision was done by Andres Posada AND Ana Maria Londono.
