After several artists were hit on stage, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS ask the public not to throw objects
“People get excited and that can be dangerous,” he said. Billie Eilish about fans who throw objects on the concert stage, on the red carpet at the premiere of Barbiein Los Angeles (via People). The singer’s older brother, FINNEAShe pondered, however, that the public does not always throw things with the intention of hitting celebrities, but rather to get their attention.
Many artists have suffered from objects being thrown onto the stage. Baby Rexha, for example, had his face injured by a cell phone thrown in his direction during a performance. In recent weeks, other musicians have also been targeted, such as Lil Nas X It is P!nk. Adele he even asked fans to “stop playing” these things.
I have mixed feelings about it because when you’re up there it sucks. But you know it’s for love and them [fãs] they are just trying to give you something. […] You’re in a vulnerable position, but I’ve been hit with stuff for years. – Billie Eilish
FINNEAS, who is also a musician, concluded: “Don’t do it. We understand, but don’t do it.” Billie added: “Don’t throw stuff on stage but we love you guys it’s so cute.”
