In this sense, in addition to the guest musicians, insiders and influencers of travel and music were also present, at the invitation of Leonel Reyescorporate director of RCD Hotels for Latin America, and Hard Rock Hotel’s Cancun, Punta Cana, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos and Vallarta units.

“The music will never go away, it will change, like the whole world is changing. But the music will go on. It’s emotion. It’s just memories. It’s a feeling that connects everyone – and obviously us at RCD. It’s a memory of that beach, that trip, that unique moment. That’s what we have to keep, today and always”, says Reyes.

As for the Ponto de Equilíbrio group, the vision for music is positive: “we hope that music evolves without losing the essence, the melody, the tones and the magic that it brings”, defends the vocalist Hélio Bentes.

“The future of music is something I’ve been thinking about a lot in this era of streaming, digital platforms and social networks… Today I confess that I’m a little afraid to think about how all this will impact these generations in the future. Human beings build amazing things, but don’t think about what can happen in 10, 20 years. That’s why events like this are so important, for us to discuss the future of music and the impact that social networks, all the intelligence around us will cause” , confessed Romero Ferro, for whom the answer to a technological advance is the artist’s truth.

Music as a connection

Promoted with the support of RCD Hotels, Rolling Stone Talks was conceived as an intimate gathering for few industry guests. Part of the interest came precisely from the luxury hotel chain, with properties in Mexico, the Caribbean and the United States.

“We work very well with music. The essence of Hard Rock is music and Rolling Stone is the best partnership to work together. Music and travel have everything to do. A song makes everyone travel, no matter if you are a child , couple, group of friends… music connects”, says Reyes.

A Rolling Stone Brazilthe corporate director also advanced some of the exclusive experiences offered at the five Hard Rock hotels of the RCD chain – the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta CanaO Hard Rock Hotel CancunO Hard Rock Hotel Riviera MayaO hard rock hotel vallarta and the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos:

“Hard Rock has super cool experiences focused on music. One of them is our professional, which we call the vibe manager, who is a person who only takes care of the music of the entire complex, from the entrance, in the restaurants, in the pool, even inside the pool, day, afternoon and night. He knows the guest who is arriving, considers his origin, if he is American, European, Brazilian, and puts on that music that will definitely connect that travel experience to his country as well”, he said.

But for Reyes, a differential of the brand is the Hard Rock memorabilia, which, worldwide, has the most authentic and valuable collection of the genre, with 86 thousand pieces around the globe. Guests are even offered a rockstar-worthy experience:

“You can also pick up a Fender guitar completely free of charge and take it to your room. On the screen, you have a channel with songs that you can learn to play in your room, or not even that, you can just take a picture and keep that memory of trip.”
