technical quality
the drummer John Barone stated to Folha de S.Paulo who, upon revisiting the 1983 work, found that the band’s energy is still registered on the album. The limitations of the studio where the recordings were made, however, prevented the songs from reaching higher sound quality. Therefore, the remixing was a strictly technical process.
At the time, the recording soundboard had only 16 channels and, therefore, it was not possible to capture the sound of all the instruments. For the drums, for example, there was only a channel for the bass drum and the snare drum.

Another problem faced, according to Baronewas related to the studio. Herbert Vianna, Bi Ribeiro and the drummer took advantage of the free time of the place and had to assemble and disassemble the instruments every time, which gave a different sound to each song they recorded.
We did not want to tarnish this process [de gravação]. We were 20-year-old boys there wanting to kill the world in the chest and kick with three fingers, as they say in football. Now, we don’t want to mischaracterize the sound, we want to improve the sound. And this was the result, and we were very happy. – Barone
