Brazil is the third country that creates the most playlists related to the Women’s Soccer World Cup

A world Cup women’s soccer kicks off this Thursday (20) and, to help the Brazilian fans get their shirts on and vibes during the warm-up, there are about 400,000 related playlists to the biggest football competition, and approx 17,500 were created this year by Brazilian usersputting the Brazil between 10 countries creating the most playlists with the theme this year.

In the overall ranking of countries creating the most playlists in Spotify history, Brazil is in third position, behind the WE AND UK.

Music icon and record holder within the platform, Shakira, owner of hit Waka-Wakapresented in 2010 for the South African edition of the championship, she is the most played female artist and added to these playlists in the Spotify in the world.

In playlists created by users in Brazil, the top positions in the most listened to chart are Anavitoria, Daniela Mercury, Ana Castela, Anitta and Maria Fernández. Yep, the most added Brazilian artists are Ivete Sangalo, Anavitoria, Daniela Mercury, Gal Costa AND Claudia Leitte.
