Lizzo criticizes ‘ugly’ men who use her name to ‘insult’ women

On social media, Lizzo spoke out about negative comments with her name

Lizzo responded to men who were using her name to “insult” women. In a post on Twitter, the singer explained that it should be a compliment to be compared to her.

“Ugly guys talking about how ‘ok LiZzO’ is an insult in girl comments. I’m beautiful, rich and I have an immaculate p*u. If you can’t stand the cheeks just say so,” he wrote.

This isn’t the first time Lizzo responds to mean comments on the internet. In 2019, one netizen wrote: “Lizzo popular is because there is an obesity epidemic in North America. Instead of encouraging people to be better, we are simply lying to them and telling them that they are fine the way they are. Sadly, many of these people are dying of diabetes and heart disease.”

At the time, the singer replied, “I’m popular because I write good songs and I’m talented and I do love-filled hour-and-a-half shows. The only person who needs to improve is you. Keep my name out of your mouth and look in the mirror before you come to me. Here is the attention you asked for.”

Now, Lizzo prepares for the release of the fourth studio album, special, which hits platforms on July 15. According to popline, Lizzo came to work on 70 tracks to choose only 12 for Special “I hope you like the songs, cry, laugh, dance, do what anyone would do. I’m honored to do this with you. thanks for listening special, for loving in a special way, for being special. I want you to know that you are special and I’m glad you’re with us.”
