the iconic director Quentin Tarantino was credited as a songwriter on the new studio album by Paolo Nutinientitled Last Night In The Bittersweetaccording to information from the NME. The musician has influences on names such as Oasis, Beatles, U2, Fleetwood Mac, pink Floyd, Damien Rice and Van Morrison.
The filmmaker was credited on the album’s opening track, “aftermath,” which previews a scene from the movie BlackberryPoint-blank (1993), whose screenplay was written by Tarantino and boosted his career in Hollywood.
“paolo likes to do all his music by himself, but having the name of Tarantino credited on your track is really cool,” said a source from The Sun about the singer. It was not the only influence of cinema on the works of Paolo Nutini: the artist sampled the speech of Charlie Chaplin in The great dictator (1940), used in the song “Iron Sky,” released in mid-2014.

iconic Hollywood director, Quentin Taratino announced a new film history book in which it explores and analyzes legendary films from the 1970s, according to information from the NME. Cinema Speculation will be released on October 25, 2022 in the United States by the publisher HarperCollins.
According to a list on the publisher’s website, the book is “organized around the main American films of the 1970s, all of which Quentin Tarantino saw him for the first time as a young cinephile at the time.” The director has always shown love for cinema in filmography, especially in Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood (2019).
“This book is as intellectually rigorous and insightful as it is fun and entertaining,” added the company. “At the same time, film criticism, film theory, feat of reportage and wonderful personal history are all written in the singular voice immediately recognizable as (from Tarantino) and with the rare perspective on the industry. Made by only one of the greatest practitioners of the art form of all time.”
