Brazilian singer performed at Primavera Sound Barcelona and took the opportunity to raise the flag of the Workers’ Party
Pablo Vittar performed at the traditional European festival Primavera Sound Barcelona, which will have its first Brazilian edition this year. The singer is part of some national names who took the stage and stirred the European audience with hits in Portuguese.
According to Folha de S. Paulothe show of vittar took place on a smaller stage compared to the other 15 the festival had. The presentation lasted just under an hour and had hits like “Love of What” and “Ultra Sound.” Without a band, the singer only had the support of four dancers who accompanied her in the songs.
Known for political demonstrations in concerts, as happened in Lollapalooza 2022 – which received an order from the TSE forbidding artists to speak out politically –, vittar took advantage of the presentation to raise a flag for the Workers’ Party which he achieved with a fan in the audience.
In the last month, vittar was confirmed as one of the artists who are part of the campaign jingle Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for president in the 2022 elections. In addition to the singer, Duda Beat, Chico Cesar, Martinho da Vila, Gilsons, Zélia Duncan, Mart’Nália, Paulo Miklos, Maria Rita and Teresa Cristina also voice the jingle.
