To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the launch of Room of Booksdebut album by fresno, the band has organized a special performance, which will be streamed live on TikTok and YouTube. In addition to unpublished material, the fresno will also make available the remastered version of the vinyl record.

On TikTok, the presentation takes place on August 15, at 8 pm, on Fresno’s profile; and, on YouTube, on August 17th, at 8 pm, on the Lucas Silveira (vocal), Gustavo Mantovani (vavo) and Thiago Guerra (War). This unpublished material will also be accompanied by a group chat with the musician and former MTV Brasil VJ Luiz Thunderbird.

With limited quantity, the LP containing the original 10 remastered tracks starts pre-order on August 17th. The presentation will be available on all audio platforms from August 25th.

In a note to the press, vocalist Lucas Silveira says Room of Books gave the trio a ‘very free and spontaneous’ learning experience, giving fresno new proposals to evolve their sound – but make no mistake: the live special is not a reinterpretation, but a tribute to the one who paved the way. “We try to travel back in time, but not literally, so there are small codes that help tell the story and contextualize the record with its time”

For the live and the new edition of the disc Room of Books 20 years, the original tracklist was rethought. Some tracks have changed position and others have been removed, all to match what is the fresno today. “We are the same, but with 20 more years on the road, so we decided to respect the original repertoire and add only our experience”, explains Lucas.

Among the highlights of the special, the fresno highlights “If Someday I Don’t Wake Up”which was one of the band’s early hits and also the track responsible for expanding the band’s reach beyond their hometown; “Stonehenge”considered by the trio to be their first purely emo song and “Deep sleep”which closes the special and serves as a tribute to a band that was a great influence on them, Dashboard Confessional.
