Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan star in film that tells the story of Leonard Bernstein, renowned composer and conductor
Bradley Cooper returns to the cinema screens under the skin of Leonard Bernsteinrenowned composer in Conductor. The feature film co-starring Carey Mulliganin Education (2009)premieres on Netflix on December 20.
The biopic directed by Cooper depicts the life of Bernstein next to the wife Felicia Montealegrereconstructing important moments in the maestro’s career. In January, the actor of A Star Is Born (2018) spoke about his relationship with the film to the Variety (via People): “Since I was a child I wanted to be a conductor”, he explained. “I was obsessed with it, I asked Santa Claus for a staff when I was 8. Listening to music, falling in love with it and memorizing every moment of a song, like the “Opus 35”in Tchaikovsky, in D major, this violin concerto… I could do it as if I knew everything, without actually knowing how to speak the language, obviously”, he added.
