Wargaming announced, this Wednesday (16th), the event Metal partywhich will be performed in collaboration with the metal band Megadeth. The event is held to celebrate the World of Tanks Modern Armor, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends games and is scheduled for August.

Metal Fest will be a celebration of the music genre, featuring exclusive appearances from Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine, James Lomenzo, Dirk Verbeuren, Kiko Loureiro and a host of Megadeth-branded in-game items, including tanks and battleships, missions, music and more.
The highlight of this collaboration is the introduction of the band’s iconic mascot, Vic Rattlehead, who will make his first video game appearance with stunning 3D rendering and an exclusive voiceover.
“This is the first time our images have been immortalized in video games! Also, our mascot showed her booming voice, adding even more metallic mayhem to the games. We have established over 350 mind meld lines and players will feel the thunder we command during battles. We have tanks, we have warships and we are ready for Wargaming Metal Fest!” said Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine.

World of Warships: Legends – 28 August to 2 October 2023
In World of Warships: Legends, players will be rewarded with the “Rattlehead” cruiser. Using it, captains can also adopt Dave and Vic skins as a reward. Additionally, players can also get a themed crest and flag featuring the band logo and Vic’s head, showcasing their allegiance to the metal legends.
World of Tanks Modern Armor – From August 29 to September 25, 2023
Upon completing challenges, players will unlock various Megadeth-themed rewards. Two new tanks inspired by “Peace sells… but who buys?” and “The sick, the dying…and the dead!” will make their debut on the Store. Vic Rattlehead will appear as an exclusive 3D Commander, while Dave Mustaine, James Lomenzo, Dirk Verbeuren and Kiko Loureiro will be added as 2D Commanders, all in their original voices. Tankers will be able to enjoy two Megadeth songs (“Soldier On!” and “Peace Sells”) in the garage if they have Megadeth tanks, fueling the adrenaline of battles with pure rock power.
World of Tanks Blitz – From August 29 to September 3, 2023
World of Tanks Blitz players will be able to join the action with a dedicated Megadeth mission, offering exclusive rewards such as animated and stationary camos inspired by various Megadeth album covers, an exclusive tank skin inspired by the album “Peace Sells. . .but who buys?” for Chieftain Mk. 6, avatars and collectibles. An exact replica of Dave Mustaine’s guitar will create a special atmosphere in the hangar as players immerse themselves in exciting metal-influenced battles.
World of Warships for PC: August 28 to September 13, 2023
World of Warships players will participate in special missions to obtain unique captains. Dave Mustaine will be immortalized as a ship’s commander with his original voiceover. Vic Rattlehead will also join the fray, issuing orders in a menacing voice. As a final reward, a powerful “Death Ray Patch” will be awarded, branding the conquerors of the seas with true metal prestige.
In addition, two special packs for ship captains will also be available. Players who get the “Megadeth: Set the Seas Afire” pack will also receive a bonus ferocious cruiser “Rattlehead”, inspired by the cover of the album “Rust in Peace”.
