The Town Festival will take place for the first time in September 2023; know everything you need to have as much fun as possible
Besides Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza, there’s one more festival to watch out for this year: The Town. From the creators of RiR themselves, the event will take place for the first time in São Paulo in September and in its first year already plans to 500 thousand people in your 5 days
And if you have already purchased or are about to purchase your ticket and are looking for information about The Town, you are in the right place! Below, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the festival before you head out to celebrate!
dates and place
The Town will take place on September 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, 2023, at the Interlagos Racecourse, in the south zone of São Paulo.
Tickets – purchase, activation and transfer
First of all, there are still tickets on sale for a few days of The Town, see? They can be purchased on the ticketmaster website and are priced at BRL 815.00 (whole) and BRL 407.50 (half).
Now if you have already bought your ticket, you need to activate it on your mobile phone. To do this, log into your account on the ticketmaster website and go to “my orders”, where you will validate your tickets with your email.
Next, you need to download the Quetro app to find your tickets there. These are the tickets you will show upon entry.
How to get?
The best option to reach The Town from anywhere in the city is by train. And the good news is that the festival has partnered with the CCR Group, so, on the day of the festival, the trains that give access to the Interlagos Autodrome it will work 24 hours.
Food
The City will have several food options within its space. The food court of the event will host, for example, the vegan food brand Incrível!, the steakhouse chain Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and the Seara brand, which will also bring a snack to the event.
However, if you don’t want to spend money on site or just prefer to bring your own food, you can, but there are rules. Basically, the organization of the event allows the entry of food and products considered within the limit of a maximum of five items per person, favoring:
- Duly sealed industrialized foods (examples: biscuits, toast, cereal bars, etc.);
- Fruit cut and packaged in transparent and non-rigid packages, of the “Zip Lock” type;
- Sandwiches packaged in non-rigid transparent “Zip Lock” packaging.
Additionally, any amount exceeding this limit may be discarded upon entry to the event, so care must be taken.
