Roger Waters shares new reworked version of Pink Floyd’s ‘Time’; listen

New version of “Time” will be present on the re-recording of the album ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’, which will be released on October 6

roger waters shared a new solo version of the song Team”which appears on the classic eighth disc of pink Floyd, The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973). The new version will be present in the singer’s re-recording to celebrate the album’s 50th anniversary.

With an additional in the title, the disc The Dark Side of the Moon Redux will be released on the 6th of October. The musician’s new approach to “Team” removes the psychedelic sounds of the single from pink Floyd in favor of a more atmospheric production that brings her muffled vocals to the forefront.

The new venture of roger waters can remember the design of Taylor Swift, who have been making so-called “Taylor Versions” in order to have full rights to their works. However, the musician guaranteed in a video on his YouTube channel that the new The Dark Side of the Moon it is a reinterpretation of the disc and does not seek to make a replacement:

The new record is more reflective, I think, and better indicates what the concept of the record was. It’s a reinterpretation and I hope we get more out of it than we did in 1973, when the album came out, because it’s been part of our lives for 50 years, and we’re still not breathing the air.

roger waters lands in Brazil in October, with the farewell tour This is Not a Drill. Known for his audiovisual shows on stage, the artist resumes the discography of pink Floyd in resource-packed performances to wow audiences.
