To celebrate the launch of I was once youngMiley shared stories and insights from various chapters of her life on the TV special Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions). Revamped from the version originally released on disney+the special features a new interview and excerpts from her recently released album Endless summer holidays and aired on the American television network ABC before the single’s release.
The new revamped special is now available to stream Huluwe WE.
As for the official music video for the song, miley comment: “It’s super emotional because I’m like a thumbnail of my mom and I got to see her on camera through a technology where I was able to live stream with my mom. So we could see each other and as she danced, it made me cry , it made me laugh, it brought out so many real emotions and I think it’s something that leads people to have real emotions, which I haven’t seen a lot lately.”
