Detonautas launches the second volume of ‘Acoustic 20 Years’

After the launch of the special project that celebrates his history and strengthens his presence in the Brazilian rock scene, Detonautas, recently joined 1 million followers on Spotifyreleases second volume DVD Twenty years of acoustics – Love has no enemies by Sony Music.

With four songs, the EP brings a reinterpretation of just one songfrom the group street noisein addition to the original tracks The return of Saturnthe band’s 2008 hit; One lucky guysince 2012 and We livesince 2014.

“In this second EP, comes a sequence of songs emblematic of those twenty years, such as ‘Um Cara De Sorte’, which won a new arrangement with a string quartet; ‘Retorno de Saturno’, which we tried to be faithful to the original version of the first acoustic; ‘Vamos Viver’, which has a super happy atmosphere to lift the spirit; and the main track called ‘Só Uma Canção'”explains Tico Santa Cruz.

Continuing the vocalist comments on the choice of just one song: “This is a song that we re-recorded by the band Som da Rua. Great traveling companions at the beginning of our career and which ended the work after the singer and composer Liô Marins left us around 2005. It was a way to pay homage and to remember the moments we dreamed together. The dream is not over!”.

In two decades, the Detonators marked generations and raised the level of national rock, with unforgettable hits, such as Another place, clear eyes, when the sun goes down, Saturn returns and many others.

The debut of the project Acoustics 20 years brought the unpublished Aposta, which is a reflection on life choices, which can lead to paths of self-destruction, but also against this same flow. The bet to which the song refers is in love, in valuing what is good for and nourishes. The songs complete the first volume The day that didn’t end, where have you been? AND Logic.
