MC Marcinho, lead singer of ‘Glamurosa’ and one of the biggest names in Brazilian funk, has died at the age of 45

MC Marcinho was important for the 90’s funk scene. His main hits were lonely rap, written for princesses, Girl Note 100, fascinating, among others. Last Friday, August 25th, the singer had deteriorating health and was in serious condition after being diagnosed with sepsis, a generalized infection. The complication of the infection led to MC Marcinho being temporarily suspended from the heart transplant queue.
