MC Pipokinha: the dancers denounce the offensive attitudes of the singer and announce her departure from the team; clock

Jonas Kaik and Wesley Ferreira have posted audios of lines they allegedly heard from the funk artist, saying they consider her “ungrateful and rude”; in the sequence other former dancers spoke on the subject

Singer MC Pipokinha was reported for allegedly abusive behavior towards the team. In the videos posted on social networks this Saturday 26, Jonas Kaik AND Wesley Ferreiraformer funkeira dancers, they criticized the artist’s attitudes and posted audios of jokes they allegedly heard from Pipokinha during their time working with her.

The two also announced their departures from the team, stating the decision was not made amicably. “It is with immense peace that we have come to announce our departure from the MC Pipokinha team. We know that many of you go to shows to honor us and, out of respect for you, we have come to give you this satisfaction,” they wrote in a publication .

In a two-part statement, Jonas and Wesley described occasions when Pipokinha allegedly cursed and treated the team with contempt. According to the dancers, the two feel “grateful” for the space they have gained working with the artist, but said “the psychological (sic) level can’t take it anymore”.

“No one knows what goes on behind the scenes,” Wesley commented. “We wouldn’t have pronounced it that way, […] just that she forced a situation herself that I didn’t think was good,” Jonas said, not mentioning what would lead the two to make the decision.

According to them, Pipokinha has already called the team “bitch” and “trash”. “Because of his attitude and the way he treated us, we had to leave [da equipe] hastily,” Wesley said.

The dancers said the artiste’s fame “went to her head” and said they considered her “false, self-righteous, ungrateful, ignorant and narrow-minded”. “She really doesn’t know how to work as a team,” Jonas said.

After the repercussion of the videos, other former dancers from Pipokinha’s team also commented on the alleged abusive behavior. The singer and dancer MC Candy reported, in the stories of Instagramproblems that he faced during the time he worked with the artist.

“It was one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had in my life. […] One of the worst people I could ever meet,” he said. Another dancer, who was also on the singer’s team, MC Fairy, also commented on the matter. “I never imagined I’d be treated the way I was treated,” she said.

OR Estadao contacted MC Pipokinha’s press office asking for a position on the matter, but received no response until time of publication. The space remains open.
