Ludmilla’s show at The Town draws attention to the “spring” dancer.

Ludmilla’s acclaimed show this Thursday (9/7) at The Town festival drew attention, in addition to the musical and scenographic performance, to the non-standard dancer’s jumps, which according to social media should be spring. She entered a circle with the other dancers, during an instrumental break in the show, and left the audience speechless with her elasticity, leading many to wonder who she was.

The young woman who stood out among the more than 30 dancers featured in the show is called Juliane Belo. With a show full of swings, hair flips, sits and splits, the Pernambuco native from Recife has been at Ludmilla’s ballet for just over a month, but she’s no newcomer to the stage. Specializing in Brega funk, the dancer was crowned in March this year with the Brega Awards in the Best Dancer category.

Before joining the cast of Ludmilla, Juliane worked with well-known musical artists from the North East, including MC Kevin do Recife and VT Kebradeira. Plus, their dances often go viral, as The Town audiences have seen firsthand.

Celebration on social media

His performance at The Town, among other things, increased his followers on Instagram, which now amount to 473 thousand fans.

On the eve of the performance at the Sao Paulo Festival, Juliane celebrated her moment on social media. “I’m living my true dream, the poor black girl from Ibura will dance on the biggest stage in The Town with Ludmilla,” she declared. Hours later, after leaving the stage, she added: “Today was the day to make history at The Town, dancing alone to bregafunk at Ludmilla’s show.”

In the Stories he promised: “I will try 10 times harder and you will still hear my name a lot.”
