American band greeted Bahian singer after performance at The Town last Saturday (9)
Pitty was praised by Garbage on the band’s profile this Sunday (10). The group, which performed at The Town last Saturday (9), he posted a thank you to the festival and made a point of including a special mention to the singer from Bahia, who also made up the line-up for the Skyline stage.
“Last night was crazy. Thank you to @thetownfestival for casting us alongside friends @foofighters and @yeahyeahyeahs. It was an honor to share the stage with incredible artists, who also happen to be extraordinary people. Even more fun was playing for a vast group of Brazilians. What a night. Thank you so much, São Paulo. Shout out to the local heroes, @pitty, for opening the show.”

The post was shared by fans of Garbage and Pitty, who asked for the Brazilian’s collaborations with the group Shirley Manson. “Now IMAGINE a @garbage and @pitty feat. I wouldn’t have imagined it in a million years, but it makes total sense,” said one user.
Manson’s performance also didn’t go unnoticed by the public. One user posted: “Shirley still sings like she did in the 90s and the boys are still doing it perfectly well, so happy to see them, I hope to check out Garbage many more times in Brazil.”
Shirley Manson commented on the show how he waited for a reunion with Brazilian fans and that he had no plans to return to the country soon:
“We’re old and we don’t know when we’ll be able to return. Until then, have the best life. Love your neighbors, but above all, love yourself”, said the vocalist as she said goodbye to the show in São Paulo.
