This Tuesday (12th) the VMA 2023 will take place and the pre-show of the event will be broadcast live from 7.30pm (Brasilia time) onwards Pluto TVacross the canal MTV Pluto TVand also on MTV (check with your operator).
The awards ceremony, which will be hosted by Nicki Minajwill be broadcast live, starting at 9pm, on Pluto TVacross the canal MTV Pluto TV, and inside too MTV (consult your operator).
NLE Choppa AND Sabrina Carpentiere will perform during the pre-show, which will last 90 minutes, and will be hosted by the award-winning rap star Saweetie with Nessa, Dometi AND Kevin Kenney.
At the awards ceremony, to rock the night, a star-studded roster will perform musical performances, including Anitta, Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, Karol G, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Wayne, MÃ¥neskin, Olivia Rodrigo, Shakira, Stray Kids AND TOMORROW. The MC of the night, Nicki Minajwill also perform on stage VMA.
Taylor Swift this year it leads the way with eight nominations and is looking to repeat its victory in the category Clip of the year, after breaking records last year by becoming the only artist to win the category three times. She is followed by SZA (6 nominations), Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo AND Sam Smith (5 nominations each) BLACKPINK, Diddy AND Shakira (4 nominations each).
The night will be full of tributes, global sensation Shakira will receive the coveted trophy Avant-garde Video Award from the MTVpresented by Toyota, and will perform on the awards ceremony stage. The legendary tycoon Sean “Diddy” Combs will receive the prestigious Global Icon Awardperforming live on stage at VMAfor the first time since 2005.
The categories and trophies will be presented by a group with stellar names, as Bebe Rexha, Charli D’Amelio, Coco Jones, Dixie D’Amelio, Emily Ratajkowski, French Montana, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Jared Leto, Madelyn Cline, Rita Ora AND Sabrina Carpentiere.
