21 Savage has had problems with US immigration since 2019; understand
The rapper 21 Savage (artistic name of Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) finally received a green card after a years-long immigration battle – according to his friend, Drake.
The news was reportedly revealed in “8AM in Charlotte”single from his next album, For All The Dogs, launched this Thursday (5). O TMZverified the statement of Drake with a county clerk from Dekalb, Georgia, who said his immigration case was closed.
In a video starring the son of Drake, Adonisthe rapper says in the song:“Savage got a green card straight from the consulate. […] Where I go, you go, brother, we are Yugoslavs”.

Due to his problems with United States immigration, 21 Savage was forced to miss several tour stops It’s All a Blur because he could not legally travel outside the United States, being replaced by Travis Scott.
The timing couldn’t be better either, as fans will find out if Savage received his green card for sure when the It’s All a Blur Tour reach the hometown of Drake in this weekend. The shows will also coincide with the arrival of For All the Dogs.
21 Savage was born in London but moved to the United States as a child, which was revealed when he was arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement in February 2019.
