The show also marked the return of singer Brian Johnson, who left midway through the last tour due to medical recommendations; ‘Come to Brazil’, the fans have already asked
The band AC DC presented his first show after seven years away from the stage, last Saturday, the 7th. Presenting it at the festival power trip, in California, the group returned with all its strength, including the singer, Brian Johnson, who retired from performing in 2016.
Johnson had to stop performing live mid-tour Rock or Bust, on medical recommendations, and was replaced at the time by Axl Rose. Now, fans say he’s back fully recovered, with his amazing voice back.
It was also the drummer’s first performance. Matt Laug with the band. He replaced Phil Rudd, prevented from traveling to the United States due to legal problems.
Beyond the classics Back in the dark AND Electrocuted, the group played some songs from their 2020 album live for the first time, Turn on.
“A privilege to see them live,” commented one fan. “Legendary,” wrote another. As expected, even after just one show, the band has already received thousands of comments asking “Come to Brazil.”
