The DJ closes the program on the festival’s main stage
Alok confirmed that he will perform at Tomorrowland Brasil next Saturday, the 14th. Through a post on his social networks, the DJ informed that his concert program will be carried out “in full”.
“GBL Shows, the company responsible for the contracts of Alok’s concerts in Brazil, informs the general public that all the shows scheduled for this week will be carried out, in full compliance with contractual obligations”, informs the press release.
Confirmation of Alok’s performance comes after an incident in Israel involving his father, Juarez Petrillo, also known as DJ Swarup.
On Tuesday the 10th, Alok said his father was about to perform when the place was bombed. Petrillo managed to take refuge in a car and leave the scene. He subsequently took refuge in a bunker, where he remained safe.
Alok clarified that although Petrillo is the creator of the Parallel Universe franchise, he was not the producer of the event in Israel. The DJ also said that he found out about his father’s presence at the event via the internet, due to little interaction between them in recent years.
