The bassist of the group Ultraje a Rigor was shot dead in early September and is still hospitalized in São Paulo; the clinical condition is stable

The musician has been hospitalized at the São Luiz do Itaim hospital, in Sao Paulo, since the beginning of September. He was shot during an attempted robbery in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro, and was found in serious condition.
On September 22, the hospital informed the Estadao that Mingau had had an enlightening movement, but no signs of interaction thus far. This Friday’s note says she has “eye opening and spontaneous ventilation during the day, via tracheotomy.”
Furthermore, the musician was placed in an armchair, where he remained seated during certain periods of the day. The note also informs that he remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit (ICU) and that his condition is stable. See in full:
“The patient Rinaldo Amaral remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the São Luiz Hospital – Itaim Unit, in Rede D’Or.
It has an eye opening and spontaneous ventilation during the day, through the tracheostomy.
There are some moments of interaction with the family, with a blink of an eye.
The patient was placed by the intensive care team in a chair, where he remained seated for periods of the day.
The clinical picture is stable.”
Remember the case
On the night of Saturday 2 September Migau was the target of an attempted robbery in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. The musician was hit in the head during the attack and was found in serious condition.
The medical team at the Hugo Miranda municipal hospital, where he was initially treated, reported that the musician had been hospitalized with a serious wound caused by a gunshot wound to the head.
He was subsequently transferred to São Luiz do Itaim Hospital, in São Paulo, where he underwent two intracranial surgeries and remains hospitalized to this day.
