The former BBB has faced repeated controversies over originality in his music career since his debut
Singer and digital influencer Juliette is once again at the center of a controversy with accusations of plagiarism.

Juliette and the controversial EP cover

Responding to the controversy, the artist’s team said: “Thank you to all the artists who served as references for my EP cover. The artwork was crafted with great care and inspired by numerous references I admire. Out of respect for the fans and the artists mentioned, we have chosen to modify the original artwork to avoid further controversy.”
Accusations of plagiarism of the title by Boogarins
The band Boogarinnoticing similarities in the song titles of Julietraised doubts about the possible plagiarism of the songs Benca, Difference Mara AND Know There.
At the time, Boogarins posted provocative posts, without directly mentioning the singer. One fan of the band said on social media: “We are shocked by the obvious similarities between Juliette’s song titles and ours. We await an official position from her team on the matter.”
Juliette’s advisor, in turn, did not directly comment on the controversy, but said: “The entire EP was made with great affection, respect and admiration for Brazilian music.”
Manu Gavassi and references to the clips
Manu Gavassi has made an accusation about the music video Almost NO dealstarring Juliette in collaboration with Marina Sena, released in August 2023. Manu claimed that the clip copied “direct references” from his project Cute 2021. During his interview on the preview program of the second season of the podcast “Acessíveis Cast”, presented by Titi Müller and MariMoon, Manu expressed his disappointment after seeing the clip.
She stated that she was “extremely sad” towards the team involved in the production of Juliette’s video, as, according to her, they were famous people who drew “direct references” from her project. However, Manu he made it clear that he was not responsible Juliet directly because of the incident, and stressed that he had spoken about it before the controversy gained notoriety.
The dispute between Alok, Sevenn and Juliette
The music A Ratite, Alok’s collaboration with Juliette and Luis Fonsi became the center of a huge debate when the American duo Sevenn claimed to have co-authored 15 of Alok’s songs. After a disagreement, the single was removed from YouTube due to allegations of copyright infringement.
