After revealing that the song Yellow magicidentified as plagiarism of the project YellowIn Murderouswill be removed from all digital platforms, Juliet she returned to the topic this Thursday the 19th, and recorded a sequence of stories in which she defends herself from other moments in which she was accused of “stealing” ideas from other artists.

The singer stated that the situation of Yellow Magic, which was a Bauducco advertising campaign performed by her and Duda Beat, was “understood and discussed”. He says he personally spoke with Emicida and Evandro Fióti, the rapper’s brother, who initially pointed out the similarities between the projects.

“After everything was clarified, the Internet court began, which takes place seven days a week, 24 hours a day. There are some judges who call themselves judges and decide who is an artist and who is not, what is art and what is who is not, who is good and who is not. They choose the right person and make accusations,” Juliette said.

“In this case, since it was my head, they accused me of plagiarism in my work. First of all, since you know everything, I hope you understand the characteristics of plagiarism and that it is a crime and that even the accusation of a crime is a crime,” he continued.

“Having said that, now I want to tell you that you have nothing to do with this madness and that you are just watching: don’t believe what you see on the internet. There are many interests behind everything. There is a lot of manipulation «You have no idea » said Juliette.

“One thing is repeated several times to get it into your head. It’s not true. Don’t believe it. Before I imagined it was like that, now I’m sure of it. I’ve been living it up close for three years,” he added.

The singer then stated that “there is a difference between references and inspirations – which are there for all to see, are in the public domain – and plagiarism”. You cited some cases where you were accused of copying other artists and showed the references you used for each work.
