Marcelinho da Lua and Márcio Menescal mourned their deaths “without warning, without meaning and without suffering”
Alex Moreiraone of the founders of the trio Bossacucanova, died this Sunday, aged 22, at the age of 58. The death was announced by his family in a post on the singer’s Facebook profile.
“Our super Alex, Xandão, Alexandre, Alex Moreira, went to sleep yesterday and didn’t wake up today, 21st. It’s hard to believe, but it’s true. Alexandre, you were very loved and always will be!” the cause of death.
Bossacucanova was born in 1997, with the idea of mixing elements of electronic music with Bossa Nova. Alex Moreira founded the trio together with Márcio Menescal and Marcelinho da Lua.
Marcelinho da Lua lamented on Instagram: “I love you forever, my beloved brother. If you tell us about our journey, no one will believe it. All love. I still don’t believe in your departure, my friend, guardian and brother. The Your departure was without warning, without meaning and without suffering.”
Menescal also posted a tribute: “We have traveled the world doing shows, many stories, many steals, conquests and happiness. You know all my secrets, flaws, qualities and talents. How can I live without your almost daily phone calls, our arguments and our love?”
