Banda Cine releases a new song before returning to the stage

The band Cine will release the new song “Último Clichê” on Wednesday evening (24/10) before returning to the stage. The new track represents a reunion between the artists’ past and present. The group intends to “close on a high note” its artistic journey in November.

The track produced by Latin Grammy winners Los Brasileiros talks about relationships and feelings with “a hint of irony about some things.” The song will also have a music video directed by Bruno Trindade Ruiz, already responsible for the videos of Di Ferrero, Badauí and Emicida.

“For us, in the band, we feel that time has passed very quickly, this phase of the band has happened, the whole boom, up until the day we meet today, has passed very quickly, so we approach this in a caricatured way, funny, in sound, this passage of time, this time flying, in the information age and all that,” the band told Rolling Stone.

The return of Cine will take place at the Replay festival on November 4th in Sao Paulo and on November 28th in the Rio de Janeiro edition. The event also features performances with other millennial icons such as Br’OZ, KLB, Furacão 2000, CPM 22, Supla, Wanessa Camargo, Detonautas and Sean Kingston.

Cinephile Band

Cine began performing in mid-2007 with songs in the emo pop genre. Its lineup is made up of DH Silveira, Pedro Caropreso, Danilo Valbusa, Bruno Prado and David Casali. Its official photographer was Rogerio Soeiro Sousa, who also earned his own fan club.

Among their successes, the band stands out for hits from the album “Flashback!”, released in 2009, such as “Garota Radical”, “As Cores” and “A Usurpadora”.

The emo band had been separated since 2016, when they announced an indefinite breakup to pursue individual paths. At the time, singer DH entered the reality show “A Fazenda” with the aim of reviving the group, but his victory “did not have the desired effect”.

“We’re all in our late 30s, we have families, bills, everything you have too. There are times in artists’ lives when there has to be awareness of the real world,” they wrote at the time. .
