Chico Buarque and Caetano go to court against the Bolsonarists; understand

Federal MP Gilvan stated that part of the federal government’s budget for culture goes to Chico and Caetano for “smoking marijuana”

The singers Chico Buarque and Caetano Veloso filed a lawsuit against the deputy Bolsonaro Gilvan from Federal (PL – ES), this Monday 30, after the parliamentarian stated that a part of the federal government’s budget for Culture goes to Chico and Caetano “smoke marijuana in their mansions in Miami.” The information was published exclusively by the newspaper’s Ancelmo Gois blog The globe.

In a speech given to the Chamber, Gilvan made false accusations against artists when talking about the funds allocated to Culture.

“Allocate 15 billion to culture? It’s a joke. Three billion a year. Then they’ll say: ‘no, it’s for the Municipalities, it’s for that unknown artist’. No, it’s not. A lot of it is for Mr. Caetano Veloso, it’s because Mr. Chico Buarque smokes their marijuana, he lives in Miami, in the villas where they live,” the deputy said.

The deputy then specified that the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) “belong to organized crime”.

“Minister Flávio Dino and this ex-con, traitor to the homeland, are part of organized crime. They don’t want to fight organized crime. Three billion a year for culture, for Caetano Veloso, for Chico Buarque, for Daniela Mercury. It’s a joke. For you who made the L, here we are, money for Culture, for these millionaires who smoke marijuana.”
