The Brazilian cinema box office lead remained with “Five Nights at Freddy’s” for the second consecutive weekend. According to data from consultancy Comscore, the video game-based horror grossed R$12.69 million and was watched by 646,000 people between Thursday and Sunday (5/11).
In 2nd place was the premiere of the concert documentary “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, which earned R$4.99 million and attracted 113 thousand viewers. The animation “Trolls 3 – Together Again” closed the podium with revenues of R$3.99 million.
“Killers of the Flower Moon”, by Martin Scorsese, grossed over R$2 million and ranked 4th, ahead of the premiere of “Mussum, O Filmis”, which grossed R$1.99 million and registered an audience of 93 thousand people.
In total, cinemas generated R$32.71 million at the box office and 1.44 million admissions over the weekend in Brazil.
