Being a bisexual woman, Karinah believes that his participation in the march represents a necessary place to speak: “I am for love and freedom for every person and we must help this community assert their rights,” says the singer, who also fights for more female voices in samba. “The struggle is intense. Women have faced machismo in samba for centuries. Now imagine bisexual women? We must always strengthen ourselves.
