Primavera Sound Festival signs a ten-year contract in Brazil


The Primavera Sound organization has signed a long-term contract with Time 4 Fun. The news was announced during an event on Wednesday evening (8/11) in Sao Paulo. On the occasion, Francesca Alterio, Festival and Marketing director of T4F, stated that the partnership guarantees the festival another ten years in Brazil.

“Spring already has a long-term contract. We will do the festival for the next ten years. Our journey is long, it will be the first year of many”, he said at the press conference.

Furthermore, it was revealed that the festival will be broadcast live on Multishow and Globoplay.

Details of Primavera Sound 2023

The second Brazilian edition of the alternative music festival, born in Barcelona, ​​Spain, will take place on December 2 and 3, at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in the capital of Sao Paulo.

There will be four stages with attractions, which will host VIP areas with open bar service, transfers and comfort. “There are many spaces dedicated to gastronomy, relaxation and also sponsors.”

The organization also guaranteed the prolonged circulation of trains leaving the festival. The idea is that the Via Mobolidade service will last until 2 am, starting from the Autódromo station, and the express trains will arrive in Pinheiros. More details on the transport operation around the racetrack will be provided in the coming weeks.

Musical attractions

On the first day of the event the main attraction will be the band The Killers, followed closely by the Pet Shop Boys. Other artists taking to the main stage on this day include Grimes and Marisa Monte. Additionally, audiences will be able to enjoy performances by The Hives, Slowdive, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Black Midi, Dorian Electra, Muna, Àiyé, Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado, Getúlio Abelha, Marina Herlop and MC Bin Laden. .

On the second day of the festival, The Cure will headline, with additional performances from Beck, Bad Religion, The Blessed Madonna, Carly Rae Jepsen, Róisín Murphy, Marina Sena, Off!, Soccer Mommy, TOKiMONSTA, Just Mustard, Mateus Fazeno Rock, Nelson D & Edgar and Puerto Candelaria.

In addition to the two-day festival, Primavera Sound São Paulo will also offer a series of shows with 11 attractions, which will take place throughout the week on the stages of Cine Joia and Audio, under the title “Primavera na Cidade”. Confirmed attractions for these shows include Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Metric, Slowdive, Black Midi and Róisín Murphy.
