Robbie Williams revealed in a documentary series what his relationship with Gary Barlow was like

Robbie Williams talked about his career, relationships and mental problems he faced throughout his life in the documentary series of the same name by Netflix. Among other revelations, the singer opened up about his relationship with Gary Barlow. They were in the boy band together Take Thatwhich brought them to fame.

“It felt like there was a single person being managed in the Take Thatand she was Gary Barlow. Everything revolved around him and as a young man I would have been jealous of that. I think a lot of me resented him,” he said. Williams in the first episode of the documentary.

To the The Independent (via NME), Robbie admitted that he did not consult Barlow about what would be said in the production of the Netflix: “Legally, I didn’t need to.” He also stated that they talked about a biopic, but the interactions were “uncomfortable”.
