Juliette ends her collaboration with Anitta’s company after being accused of plagiarism

Juliette interrupts her collaboration with the record label Rodamoinho Records, founded by her great friend Anitta. The decision came amid allegations of visual plagiarism that the singer has faced in at least four projects.

The statement was released this Monday (11/13) by the record company and Juliette. The professional relationship began in mid-2021, as soon as the celebrity won the “BBB 21”, and will end in January 2024.

“We inform you that, after a decision taken by mutual agreement, Rodamoinho will not represent (from 12/24/20) commercially and artistically the singer Juliette. We thank the artist, partners and team for all the trust, respect and support “Friendship earned throughout this partnership. Team Rodamoinho”, reads the note published on Instagram.

Professional partnership

Juliette Freire has only released two artistic projects with the Rodamoinho record label: a six-track EP, “Juliette” (2021), and her recent debut album “Ciclone”. It was in the first work that fans were amazed by the similarity of the art to the cover of the single “Indestructível” (2017), by Pabllo Vittar.

The millionaire was also accused of plagiarizing Manu Gavassi’s look in the “Gracinha” video and IZA’s in “Não Sou de Falar de Amor”. She was also involved in a controversy with Duda Beat in the commercial project “Magia Amarela”, which is said to be a thematic copy of the hit “Amar-Elo”, by Emicida.
