Caetano Veloso presented the show celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the album on Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th in Rio de Janeiro Fuck you, one of the most revered of his career. It featured the participation of musicians and singers originally present at the recording of the album.
One of the guests was Angela Ro Ro, who played harmonica on the song during the recording of the album. Nostalgia, by Caetano. In addition to repeating her participation in the song, now, on stage, Angela also sang the song in front of the audience Scandal, which Caetano made for her in 1981 and which gave its name to the album she released that year.
In a video published on his social networks, Caetano states that he was very moved when he heard Angela sing Escândalo. “I cried so much that I got to a point where anything could happen.”
And it happened. Entering the stage to thank Angela, Caetano was surprised by the singer’s tongue. He reciprocated. The two exchange an open-tongue kiss, to the delight of the audience.
