Kevin He is an artist that I have always greatly admired. I’ve always seen him as someone who really inspired me and was always on my dream list of people I’d like to work with. It kind of took us by surprise how well we got along in the studio, how well we worked together, and how much fun we had collaborating with each other. We made really cool music, we had fun, and “Houdini” is a special track for us. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it.
Lipa also made clear his admiration for the mind behind the tame Impala and highlighted that Currents (2015) is one of his favorite albums.

One thing I have to say about the project as a whole, having someone as Kevinwhich is incredible, Danny Harlewho also worked on it, Tobias Jesso Jr. It is Caroline Ailin… Everyone has such a unique artistic vision. When we got together, we wanted to create something that could live on its own. But in terms of things I’m obsessed with, I think Currents… I feel like it’s the soundtrack to my life. It’s one of my favorite albums of all time. Currents It’s like the gateway to the tame Impala and this record changed my life completely.
