Singer Simone is awarded at the Latin Grammys


The artist has been honored for her work as a whole throughout her 50-year career; Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, Martinho da Vila and Zélia Duncan sent statements to the singer

Singer Simon was awarded in this edition of Latin Grammy, started on the night of Sunday 11th in Seville, Spain.

The homage was paid to all the works created during the artist’s 50-year career. Simone was celebrated with the testimonies of Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, Martinho da Vila AND Zelie Duncan.

Simone thanked all the composers, producers and musicians, as well as his fans and his wife. “My love for music in these 50 years has been so great that it has become my very existence,” she concluded.

The 24th edition of the Latin Grammys will take place November 16 and will be broadcast exclusively on BIS and Globoplay, with free broadcast for non-subscribers. The ceremony will be commented by journalists Guilherme Guedes and Kenya Sade.
