Ludmilla is a victim of racism on Black Awareness Day

Ludmilla was the target of an orchestrated racist attack on social media on the eve of Black Awareness Day, celebrated this Monday (20/11). The singer became one of the most talked about topics on X (formerly Twitter) after her fans demanded respect.

The attack was apparently initially instigated by fans of Mexican Kenia Os, after the celebrities exchanged unfollows on social media. Some have pointed out that the incident occurred due to a photo of the foreigner with Anitta, Ludmilla’s alleged “rival”, but there is no confirmation.

The fact is that Ludmilla’s name went viral on X through offensive comments that also came from the Brazilian public. “Ludmilla sang the hymn [nacional] TO [premiação do] Multishow caused more outrage than receiving racist attacks,” one fan pointed out.

The situation also sparked outrage in fan clubs of other artists, such as Pabllo Vittar, IZA, Luísa Sonza, Gloria Groove, Ana Castela, Bad Bunny and Beyoncé, as well as Tati Quebra Barraco herself and former BBB member Paulo André.

“Inadmissible! The singer Ludmilla, who is also a big fan of Beyoncé, is the subject of a series of attacks with racist comments, and it is worrying to see that many Brazilians are also joining this. Racism is a crime, and this type of behavior, both on the internet and in real life, must be cracked down! When you come across this type of attack, no matter who it is, don’t ignore it. Report it!”, wrote Beyoncé’s fan club profile.

“The IZA Portal team does not support or condone any hate crimes and RACISM committed by other fandoms against Ludmilla or any other artist. We are with you, Lud!”, added fans of singer IZA.
