Between testimonials and never-before-seen recordings, the eight-episode documentary series will feature behind-the-scenes footage and BTS performances
Even with a gap in BTSone of the main K-pop groups today, from 2023 to fulfill mandatory military service, fans will be able to see V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin It is J-Hope in a new documentary series from Disney+which received its first trailer this Tuesday (21).
Titled BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star, the project follows the rise of the K-pop group. The eight-part documentary series will hit the platform on December 20 and will span the group’s 10-year career, with two new episodes released every Wednesday.
In a press release, the Disney+ promises an in-depth look at the journey of the best-known K-pop band of all time, with a “glimpse into the countless obstacles and challenges the band encountered in reaching the global milestones that defined their career, as well as their daily lives and members’ inner thoughts.”

In August, RM assured fans that the group would return in 2025, and Jungkook recently said in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music that he is looking forward to the reunion.
You know, I miss them. And I was thinking about them. So I suppose this year may seem far away, but I don’t want to think that way. I think BTS’s synergy in 2025 will be incredible. I’m so looking forward to it.”
