Lana Del Rey reveals why she rarely appears in collaborations with Taylor Swift

Singer participated in Snow On The Beach, from the album Midnights, but without much prominence

After becoming a meme for having a minimal participation in Snow On The Beachpresent in Midnightstenth studio album by Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey explained why there was so little singing in the song. According to the artist, she combined her voice with Taylor’s so that she didn’t stand out more than her colleague in the song.

“I can imitate almost anyone, so I’m all over the first version of Snow On The Beach. I layer and match her vocals perfectly, so you’d never even know I was completely all over that first song. She wanted me to sing the whole song, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”declared Del Rey in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
