The Civil Protection launched this Thursday (23/11) a warning for strong thunderstorms until Saturday (25/11) in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. The dates coincide with Taylor Swift’s tour in Sao Paulo.
The agency reported that the storm will be accompanied by a fried front, hail and wind gusts between 40 and 80 km/h. Furthermore, there are risks of lightning in forested areas and flooding during storms. The Civil Protection has also asked the inhabitants of the slopes to pay attention to possible landslides.
In recent weeks the city of Sao Paulo has been hit by an intense heat wave and light rain, but the scenario changed in early November when the region suffered from strong winds. During the period, the capital recorded deaths, hundreds of fallen trees and widespread blackouts.
Performances of “The Eras Tour” will be held on November 24, 25 and 26 at Allianz Parque Stadium. Tickets for the shows are sold out.
