MC Daniel will have to testify in a lawsuit brought by an underage fan

MC Daniel was called to testify in a moral damages lawsuit brought by an underage fan. The funk singer will have to attend the virtual conciliation hearing, which will take place this Wednesday (29/11) to provide clarifications. The legal action takes place at the 2nd Civil Court of the Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo Forum, in Sao Paulo.

Since March this year, a 17-year-old teenager claims to have attended a concert held in September 2022, where he was allegedly attacked by the funk singer’s security guards after attempting to go on stage to take a photo. The young man also stated that he tried to talk to Daniel, but the security guards resumed the attacks. The funk singer even made fun of the situation and encouraged the employees’ attitude.

In the process, the minor also adds that MC Daniel encouraged the public to film the moment, as well as recording his face and exposing it on social media with the accusation of “looking for trouble”. The singer, in fact, had shared a video in which she offended the young man a few days before receiving the summons to court.

“This guy is a fucking Mongolian. He went to the show drunk, drunk, on drugs, tried to stop me, I went out… The guys, the fans, beat him up. After that he went to the hotel, I thought he was armed and I I said, ‘Let him pull over to exchange some ideas’. I pulled over and saw he wasn’t there. I said, ‘Why did you do this?’. I have videos of everything. I “I didn’t even hit him, I didn’t I did nothing. I haven’t done that kind of thing in a long time, I’ve stopped being a bad boy,” Daniel said at the time.

In addition to the funk singer, Lyons Produções, the company responsible for MC Daniel’s career, and the security guards present at the show were also called to testify at the conciliation hearing. The young man’s defense requests compensation of R$ 91,140.00 for moral damages.

MC Daniel’s office declined to comment on the matter.
