Paul McCartney has announced that he will present a “surprise” show this Tuesday (28/11) at Clube do Choro, in Brasilia. The presentation will be held for a limited audience of 420 people and all tickets are already sold out.
“To celebrate the arrival of the Got Back tour in Brazil, Paul will perform a show today at Clube do Choro in Brasilia. Tickets for the show are extremely limited!”, wrote the artist’s team on Instagram.
After the show, McCartney will begin his “Got Back” tour in Brazil, with a performance at Maré Garrincha Stadium on Thursday (30/11). The singer will also perform in Belo Horizonte (3 and 4 December), in Sao Paulo (7, 9 and 10 December), in Curitiba (13/12) and in Rio de Janeiro (16/12).
Surprise show
Holding a surprise show is a Paul McCartney tradition in other countries. The singer’s team would have visited a few locations before selecting the Clube do Choro as the ideal setting for the event in Brazil.
Last year, McCartney surprised his fans with a performance in the town of Frome, England, the day before playing the Glastonbury Festival. The scene was repeated again in 2018, when he announced a show at Grand Central train station, in New York, United States.
