Mingau’s daughter shows her father’s face in hospital and says the musician has a lung infection

The daughter of PorridgeIsabella Aglio, used her Instagram account to publish an image showing, for the first time, her father’s face in hospital. The bassist of Outraged the Penalty He has remained hospitalized since he was shot in the head in early September. Isabella also said that her father is facing a lung infection.

“There’s laughter and joy, but there’s also a lot of crying… I’m doing everything I can, Dad. It’s going to be okay, I promise,” he wrote in the publication.

Before that, on the morning of this Thursday 30th, Isabella had shared with her followers a moment in which she showed the evolution of her father. In another publication, she recorded Porridge moving her thumb while she did an exercise. “Every victory is celebrated here,” she said in the video’s caption.

Remember the case

On the night of September 3, Rinaldo Oliveira Amaral, known as Mingau, bassist of the band Ultraje a Rigor, was the target of an attempted robbery in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. The musician was hit in the head during the attack and was found in serious condition.

The attack occurred around 11pm, when the bassist was driving at high speed near Praça do Ovo, located in the Ilha das Cobras neighbourhood. According to police information, the criminals surrounded the vehicle and fired numerous shots, hitting the musician in the head.

The medical team at the Hugo Miranda municipal hospital, where Mingau was initially treated, reported that the musician was hospitalized with a serious wound caused by a gunshot wound to the head. He was subsequently transferred to the São Luiz do Itaim hospital, in Sao Paulo, on a plane equipped with intensive care provided by the air taxi company Air Jet.

At a press conference held on September 5, shortly after the incident, the doctors responsible for the case reported that the bullet hit the left hemisphere of the artist’s brain and passed through his skull.

On December 14th Mingau will be honored with a charity show at the Bradesco Theater. Among the names who will participate in the presentation are Dinho Ouro Preto, Kiko Zambianchi, Leo James and more.

The event will begin at 9pm and aims to raise funds for the bassist’s recovery treatment. Murilo Couto and Juliana Oliveira, from the program The nightthey will be the presenters of the event.
