Bituca has always declared his passion for the Beatles. The legendary album Clube da Esquina, released in 1972, features much of the quartet’s sound. The Brazilian composer, who will retire from the stage in 2022, also often travels by car to the beat of the Beatles.
One of Bituca’s most famous recordings, which has always been in his performances, is the song For Lennon and McCartneycomposed by Lô Borges, Márcio Borges and Fernando Brant, published by Bituca in 1970.
In 2009, technology combined the voices of Bituca and Elis Regina in the song Sweet dreams, by Lennon and McCartney. Bituca is one of the most prestigious Brazilian artists among international musicians.
