Sia undergoes a cosmetic procedure and confesses: ‘I’m insecure like most people’

Sia stated that she underwent liposuction last Sunday, the 10th. “I want to be truthful about all my procedures, so I don’t contribute to the system that tells us that we are not enough”, she wrote on Twitter.

After unsuccessful attempts to lose weight with exercise and thyroid medication, the singer opted for the aesthetic procedure. She confessed that she feels “insecure like most people” but acknowledged that she is “lucky to have the resources to change the way she looks.” Read in full:

In 2021, Sia He also spoke openly about another procedure he underwent. In an interview with Gabor Maté, she stated that she had liposuction on her chin. She was motivated by insecurity: “I thought I had a double chin and, in fact, they were muscles that I used to sing” (via People).
