Project includes new album and filming of the first post-pandemic carnival
To celebrate 40 years of career, Daniela Mercuryannounced this Saturday (9) the cover of his new album and audiovisual project, which will be available on all digital platforms on December 15th. Entitled I am Carnival (2023), the album 21 songs that marked the 2023 carnival, the first post-pandemic.

Furthermore, the music “The Song of the City”, which inspires the title of the audiovisual project, turns 30. The project uses the phrase from the lyrics in the first person to celebrate the joy of everyone who has sung this song for 3 decades.
The production will bring together different angles and views of the ground, the colors and the brightness of the revelers, and the public will be able to see up close behind the scenes of the carnival, who is behind the artist and the electric trio. The recordings took place over 10 days during the carnival festivities in Salvador and São Paulo this year.
