Singer and entrepreneur Preta Gil recently announced the 16th edition of Preta Bazaar, which takes place annually with the aim of raising funds for partner institutions. This time the institutions chosen were: State Association of Ostomates of Rio de Janeirowhich focuses on helping ostomy patients in vulnerable situations and the newspaper The voice of the communitiesthe campaign helps organize the action For a better Christmas. The project aims to support the population of the community of Alemão Complex.

For this year the Bazaar will have a partnership with the I’m sick, the largest used goods marketplace in the country. Several pieces by the artist herself will be available on the site. Among them: clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and more.

“And we enter another edition of this project that is so special to me and that has been part of my calendar for years. Once again we help Voz das Comunidades, which develops work across the areas of social impact and community journalism in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and for the first time we will also help the Association of People with Stoma of the State of Rio de Janeiro, which is in great need of support”explains Preta Gil.

And it continues like this: “I chose it precisely because I experienced this whole process up close and I understood how many people lack structure and need support. I am very happy to be able to contribute and I hope that this action continues for many, many years. This time we will do it online with Enjoei, continuing our partnership that has been going on since 2020, so people from all over Brazil can have access”, said the daughter of Gilberto Gil.
